Survey for NOR-CAL secession!

It will be important for the agents of our cause to get out and begin to informally poll the populace of Northern California. We have begun to receive a few forms from NOR-CAL Propaganda Ministry (NPM) that will assist us in polling people on the street.

We have crafted a simple form for people to answer and fill out. It should not take a significant amount of people's time to complete. This weekend will be the first time we will be out with these forms. We have (4) official pollsters (including me and my wife) that will be spread across San Francisco. We hope to at least engage (400) people over the course of the weekend.

Please feel free to grab this form from the BLOG and become an unofficial pollster for our cause. Just "right click" this image and save it to your desktop. In no time you can be assisting us in "redefining the California Republic". The form is pictured below.

We will keep you all informed of the progress that we make. If you do take it upon yourself to do some polling, please let us know how you do. And as always, please leave a comment or two we are eager to hear from our NOR-CAL brothers and sisters.

A NOR-CAL Secessionist Movement, Getting Organized!

So you may notice we have some new visuals. It is important for us to rally under a consistent banner, or at least that is the direction that I gave our PR/Marketing firm that I have hired. We'll refer to them as the NOR-CAL Propaganda Ministry (or NPM). This is a talented group that sympathizes with our movement. We have worked out an advantageous billing structure that won't crush our grassroots movement but yet will still provide our cause with all the tools we'll need for this prolonged battle. So keep checking in as we will be uploading all these tools that will be made available to assist our NOR-CAL Brothers and Sisters (YOU) in getting the message out!!!

A little bit of background regarding the graphics.

We have tried to develop a bold, recognizable and professional visual identity that will begin to shape the visual Brand of our movement. We have focused on bringing a bit of a traditional look through careful selection of typography with a color palette that is much inspired by Northern California's landscape as well as our current State Flag. You may have noticed the two-headed bear, this represents the current "state" of our state in it's rapid pace to get absolutely no where!!! We hope this will be a detail we can drop at some point as we get closer to our goal of secession from SOCAL. We have also graphically depicted what our true goal is to separate the state in two (via the dotted line). The scissor graphic details also symbolically register our intent. I realize that NPM may feel that I am over explaining this to you all (it is a good design and it should speak for itself) but it is important for you all to know the origins of a BANNER we will all collectively gather under and around!

I promise we will go into greater detail regarding our stance, platform and strategy in executing our goals. We are surrounding ourselves with some key political strategists and ex-politicos that are familiar with our dysfunctional state government and how we might influence its future course.
